3 Martyrs in an attack targeting a security checkpoint and displaced persons' tents in Khan Yunis

Medical sources at Nasser Hospital confirmed the arrival of the bodies of three martyrs and a number of wounded as a result of this direct targeting, which comes amid continuous escalation affecting areas crowded with displaced persons.

In a related context, civil defense crews reported that they dealt with a large fire that broke out in the tents of displaced persons in the Mawasi Al-Qarara area, affiliated with Khan Yunis, following an Israeli airstrike that targeted the area. The fires caused a state of panic among displaced families who lack the most basic safety requirements, at a time when the war machine continues to target shelters and areas previously classified as safe.

The field in the central sector was not spared from the aggression, as field sources reported that an Israeli raid targeted the immediate vicinity of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. This shelling came shortly after the area was evacuated of residents, indicating the occupation's insistence on destroying infrastructure and vital facilities surrounding the remaining medical institutions in service.

These bloody developments come on the second day of the blessed Eid al-Adha, to deepen the wounds of Palestinians after a first day witnessed intense raids on Gaza City that resulted in the death of 10 martyrs, including women and children. These attacks reveal serious violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 2025, which places the international community before its responsibilities regarding the continuation of the war of extermination in various forms.

On the political front, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sparked a new wave of anger by announcing that he had issued instructions to the army to expand the area of field control to include 70% of the Gaza Strip. This announcement represents a clear challenge to existing agreements, and confirms the occupation's intention to impose a new geographical and military reality that devours most of the besieged Strip's lands.
