The Israeli occupation army escalated its attacks on areas in southern Lebanon, where field sources reported the martyrdom of at least four people and the injury of others in airstrikes that targeted two points belonging to the Islamic Health Authority in the town of Hanaway in the Tyre district. These night raids come as part of a series of continuous violations of the ceasefire agreement, as sources counted approximately 30 attacks carried out by the occupation in one day, targeting border towns and populated areas.
In the context of attacks on vital facilities, Israeli shelling targeted the vicinity of the governmental hospital in the town of Tibnin, resulting in the injury of nine citizens, including seven medical staff and employees working in the hospital. The shelling caused extensive material damage to the hospital's facilities, threatening its ability to provide emergency services amid the ongoing military escalation in southern Lebanon.
The town of Deir Qanoun Al-Nahr witnessed a solemn funeral procession for nine martyrs from one family, who died in a massacre committed by the occupation army, which resulted in a total of 13 martyrs, including women and children. In contrast, sources close to Hezbollah announced the execution of 16 military operations targeting gatherings of occupation soldiers and their vehicles in border villages, using drones and guided missiles.
On the economic front, Lebanese Finance Minister Yassin Jaber revealed shocking figures for the extent of the destruction, confirming that the direct and indirect losses from the Israeli aggression amounted to approximately 20 billion US dollars. Jaber explained that the already exhausted Lebanese economy faces the specter of contraction by 7% to 10% during the current year, as a result of the paralysis that has affected vital productive sectors.
The Lebanese minister indicated that the agricultural sector in the southern and Nabatieh governorates was subjected to widespread and systematic destruction, which deprived thousands of families of their basic livelihoods. Agricultural lands in the south are considered a fundamental pillar of Lebanese food security, but continuous shelling and the use of incendiary materials have led to vast areas going out of actual service and the complete damage to supply chains.
In the Palestinian territories, the bleeding did not stop, as four citizens were martyred in the Gaza Strip by occupation fire, among them 13-year-old child Jude Dweik, after he was targeted by a bomb from a 'quadcopter' drone in Beit Lahia. Other Palestinians were also martyred in Mawasi Rafah and the town of Al-Qarara, while rescue teams continue to retrieve the bodies of martyrs from areas that witnessed previous ground incursions.
Documented statistics indicate that the total number of victims of ceasefire violations since October 2025 has risen to 881 martyrs and thousands of injured, reflecting the fragility of the agreements reached. These developments come amid the ongoing comprehensive war of extermination since October 2023, which has left 90% of the infrastructure in the Gaza Strip destroyed and led to the martyrdom and injury of tens of thousands.
Losses from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon amounted to about twenty billion dollars, and the economy is expected to contract by up to 10%.
