Martyr and serious injury by occupation bullets in Al-Ram town north of Jerusalem

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced on Tuesday evening the death of a Palestinian young man and the serious injury of another, as a result of Israeli occupation forces firing live bullets at them in Al-Ram town, located north of occupied Jerusalem.

Field sources clarified that the occupation forces stationed behind the separation wall directly opened fire at the two young men, targeting vital parts of their bodies, which resulted in the martyrdom of one of them on the spot, while ambulance crews rushed to transport the other injured person to the hospital for urgent treatment in a critical health condition.

A state of severe security tension prevails in Al-Ram town and the vicinity of the separation wall following the incident, as occupation forces have reinforced their military presence in the area, at a time when they continue to target Palestinians near contact areas and the wall in various areas of Jerusalem and the West Bank.

Occupation soldiers stationed behind the wall directly targeted the two young men, leading to the immediate death of one of them.
