Update on the toll of the aggression: 72,736 dead since October 2023

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip revealed today, Saturday, new field updates showing the continued rise in martyrs as a result of ongoing violations, as hospitals received 4 martyrs during the past forty-eight hours, in addition to the recovery of a fifth body, while 15 citizens were injured with varying degrees of wounds.

Official data issued by the Ministry indicated that the total number of martyrs since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,736 martyrs, a toll that reflects the scale of the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe and the military operations that targeted civilians in various areas of the Strip.

In a related context, medical sources indicated that the period following the last agreement saw the fall of 850 martyrs and the injury of 2,433 others, confirming that rescue teams were able to recover 770 bodies that were trapped under the rubble of destroyed homes or lying in streets that were previously inaccessible.
