Injuries in bombing carried out by occupation drones near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah

Field sources in the Gaza Strip reported today, Thursday, that six Palestinian citizens sustained various injuries as a result of a raid carried out by occupation drones. The bombing targeted the area behind Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah city, in the central part of the Strip, an area crowded with displaced persons' tents and vital facilities.

The sources stated that medical teams quickly transported the injured to the emergency departments inside the hospital to provide them with the necessary treatments. The explosion caused a widespread state of fear and panic among thousands of displaced persons and patients present within the medical complex's walls, fearing a repeat of direct targeting of health facilities.

This attack comes in the context of an ongoing military escalation launched by the occupation army on areas in the central Gaza Strip, where drones constantly hover over the area's skies. These drones continue their intensive flights over hospitals and shelters, increasing the state of tension and field confusion among unarmed civilians.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that the missile launched by the drone fell in the middle of a gathering of citizens in a vital passage constantly used by passersby and displaced persons. Witnesses explained that the sudden timing of the bombing amplified the extent of injuries and the state of chaos, amid the continued siege and military pressures on the remaining medical facilities in the Strip.

The bombing was sudden and targeted a gathering of citizens in a vital area teeming with passersby and displaced persons' tents.
