.. The pens have poured forth ink abundantly with the ink of hearts tormented by endless wandering, and pained by the agony of suffering and the bleeding of open wounds on the arteries of hearts, in the massacre of the century that the killers have not yet satiated their thirst for, as it nears the end of its second year, with a genocide that continues in relentless bloody chapters.
The twenty-second of September will not merely be a day for the autumn equinox and the changing of the seasons, but it will also be considered a day for political upheaval, and the beginning of punishing the criminals and not allowing them to escape justice for the crimes they have committed over decades, during which the Palestinian people have faced a genocide that has devastated their land and offspring, targeting the annexation of geography and the displacement of demographics, in execution of plans that have been pulled from the drawers, at a moment of transient imbalance in the scales of truth, values, and international justice.
Flags have been raised in places where their bearers were accused of terrorism and labeled as anti-Semitic, before they spread like mushrooms after rain in the streets, shops, and demonstrations, fluttering on the masts of embassies, institutions, and municipal buildings.
Perhaps the lesson that rises from the waves of international recognition of the Palestinian state is that arrogance can strike, kill, starve, and destroy, but it cannot impose anything that contradicts the will of nations and peoples, which have achieved the desired transformation through their demonstrations and the elevation of their voices, amidst this long journey of blood, pain, and steadfastness.
