Israeli occupation forces tightened their security measures at military checkpoints around Nablus on Wednesday evening.
According to local sources, the occupation forces tightened their security measures at checkpoints, closing some of them, including Awarta and Al-Murabba'a to the south, and Deir Sharaf and Surra to the west. They detained a number of citizens, checked their IDs, and searched their vehicles, causing traffic congestion.
Checkpoints are heavily manned by the military most of the time, impeding citizens' movement and access to their homes and workplaces in other West Bank cities.
