The World Food Programme warned on Wednesday that supplies for distributing hot meals in the Gaza Strip will suffice for a maximum of two weeks, and that the last food parcels will be distributed within two days.
This came in a post on his X account, regarding the situation in the besieged Gaza Strip, which is under Israeli occupation aggression that prevents the entry of aid.
The program confirmed that all 25 bakeries supported by the World Food Programme (WFP) in Gaza have closed due to fuel and flour shortages.
"The distribution of hot meals is ongoing, but supplies are sufficient for a maximum of two weeks, and we will distribute the last food parcels within two days," he said.
For the second day in a row, bakeries in the Gaza Strip supported by the World Food Programme (WFP) have closed their doors after running out of flour and fuel needed to operate them. This comes as a result of the occupation's continued tightening of its blockade of the Strip, which has been in place for a month.
