My heart is in agony, almost torn to pieces from the gloom of the scene and the terrible outcome. Hearts have reached throats, while people are dying under the rubble of homes, in the streets and tents, and in front of food banks.
In Gaza, crucified on the stake, there is nothing but destruction and terrible death, killing, hunger, thirst, and oppression in the face of the enormity of the inability to provide food and medicine to the people, as they suffer their pain and breathe their last breath due to the depletion of life-saving supplies.
On Eid, sacrifices are offered, morning and evening, by children as they sleep in tents, waiting for food to satisfy their hunger from the food banks, and even inside operating rooms, where there are no medicines, no doctors, no medicine to relieve pain and heal wounds.
It is a feast of blood, scattered limbs, and empty stomachs that have not found a piece of bread or a sip of water to satisfy their hunger and sustain the lives of the hungry and frightened besieged people in the Al-Junaina and Tel Al-Sultan areas in Rafah, where nearly fifty thousand citizens are suffering under a stifling siege that bleeds blood and terror.
What kind of holiday is this in which we slaughter our livestock from vein to vein?
What kind of holiday is this when the nations have ganged up on us, and the hyenas that have broken free from all restraints have gnawed at our hearts, destroyed our homes, and are still threatening us with more?
It was a pearl until the criminal usurpers turned it into a cemetery and a large house of mourning that has not closed its doors for seventeen months.
Oh God, mend our broken hearts, increase our reward, and inspire us with your mercy, patience and solace, and protect our people in the slaughtered Gaza Strip from the treachery of the traitors and the silence of the silent and cowardly...!
Stop the genocide now...!
