This year, Eid falls amidst the resumption of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and its continued aggression on the West Bank.

The atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr is absent for all residents of the Gaza Strip due to the war and the painful scenes unfolding in the Strip, particularly with the destruction of markets, public parks, and residential neighborhoods.
