Today, Thursday, the Israeli occupation authorities released about (30) detainees from several prisons. They were released after the end of their sentences, including the Jerusalemite prisoner Saed Salama, who spent 24 years in the occupation prisons.
The Prisoners' Club said in a brief statement that the occupation forces imposed strict conditions on him and his family to prevent any celebration of his freedom. This is part of the systematic terrorism practiced by the occupation authorities against released prisoners and their families.
The statement added that the photos of the prisoners once again reflected the level of brutality practiced against them by the prison system in an unprecedented manner, as it required the transfer of a number of them for treatment, especially since some of them suffer from scabies, specifically those who were released from Megiddo prison, which is witnessing a widespread spread of the disease among the prisoners, noting that some of the prisoners were subjected to severe beatings until the last moment of their arrest.
The releases come as occupation forces continue daily arrest campaigns in the West Bank, arresting thousands since the start of the genocide.
