Recovering the bodies of dozens of dead in the northern Gaza Strip
Today, Tuesday, ambulance and rescue crews retrieved the bodies of dozens of dead from a mass grave in the northern Gaza Strip, to be buried in official cemeteries.
The Civil Defense in Gaza reported that the bodies of about 40 dead who were killed during the Israeli occupation's aggression on the northern Gaza Strip were recovered and buried in a mass grave in the town of Beit Lahia due to the siege imposed by the occupation at the time, indicating that they will be buried and reburied in official cemeteries.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Tuesday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,405 dead, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.
She added that the number of injuries has risen to 111,835 since the beginning of the aggression, while a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.
She pointed out that 8 dead (7 dead were recovered, and one martyr succumbed to his wounds) and 11 injuries arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals during the past 48 hours.
