Today, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces raided homes and residential buildings in the city of Tulkarm and its suburbs, and turned a number of them into military barracks after expelling their residents.

According to local sources, the occupation forces raided the Al-Dido building near the entrance to Tulkarm camp, and climbed onto its roof, while searching and vandalizing it inside, at the same time as they raided the Al-Fara’tawi family’s home on Nablus Street and forced its residents to evacuate it, in preparation for turning it into a military barracks.

She added that the occupation forces raided the Al-Khatib family home in the Rashid neighborhood in the Dhnaba suburb east of the city, and searched the house for more than two hours and tampered with its contents, and subjected its residents to interrogation before forcing them to evacuate it and not return to it for a week. They also seized the home of citizen Muhammad Karso’ in the neighborhood and turned it into a military barracks.

The occupation forces raided the Al-Zaytawi and Badir buildings in the Dhnaba suburb, conducting a wide-ranging search inside them, destroying their contents, and conducting field interrogations with their residents. The Badir building was turned into a military barracks, while the citizen Muhammad Al-Awfi from the suburb was arrested and used as a human shield while raiding the homes.

The occupation forces intensified their military presence on Nablus Street, which connects the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, and around the buildings they seized, while imposing a tight siege on the camps and preventing entry or exit from them.

Eyewitnesses said that Tulkarm camp witnessed today an intensive deployment of infantry soldiers in all its neighborhoods, and they raided empty houses and turned them into military barracks, accompanied by the occupation bulldozers carrying out extensive demolition of the completely destroyed infrastructure on Al-Wakala Street.

The witnesses added that the camp is witnessing movements of the occupation army and its bulldozers in a manner that raises concerns about this unprecedented escalation.

In the same context, the occupation forces delivered notices to stop construction work to a number of homes and industrial barns in the western neighborhood of the Shuweika suburb, close to the racist annexation and expansion wall, after storming the suburb’s plain and firing live bullets at citizens while they were working in the area.
