Today, Monday, the Israeli occupation forces notified the demolition of a school in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

WAFA reported that the occupation forces notified the demolition of the Palestine Mixed Elementary School in Masafer Yatta.

In the latest statistics documented by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education on the occupation’s violations against education in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, from 10/7/2023 to 2/11/2025, they were as follows:

In Gaza, more than 12,467 students were martyred, and 20,311 others were injured, while in the West Bank, 91 students were martyred, 563 were injured, and 313 were arrested.

569 educational cadres were killed and 2,703 were injured in the Gaza Strip, while 3 were killed, 18 were injured, and more than 157 were arrested in the West Bank.

111 schools were completely destroyed, 241 were severely damaged, 85 were bombed and vandalized, all of them governmental, in addition to 89 UNRWA schools that were vandalized in the Gaza Strip, while 117 schools in the West Bank were vandalized during the same period.

Regarding universities, 20 higher education institutions were severely damaged, 51 university buildings were completely destroyed, and 57 buildings were partially destroyed in the Gaza Strip, while 7 universities and colleges were repeatedly raided and vandalized in the West Bank during the same period.
