America and Israel.. Restructuring the Path to Liquidating the Palestinian Cause

Since the far-right Bezalel Smotrich presented his plan for the decisive victory in 2017, which included forcing the Palestinians to live as individuals without national rights, or to leave, or to submit to bloody oppression, these policies have been implemented with increasing brutality, until today, the matter has reached an unprecedented escalation in killings and displacement. The Israeli occupation no longer leaves the Palestinians with only two options: death or displacement. This is the bloody doctrine that is being implemented today on the ground in the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and Jerusalem, where Israel is completing its plan to uproot the Palestinian presence.

As part of this strategy, Israel is implementing a systematic plan for 2025, which aims to demolish what the Palestinians are building in the West Bank faster than they can rebuild it, with the aim of creating a reality that makes life impossible. American support for these policies is clearly demonstrated by the delivery of a huge shipment of 1,800 MK-84 bombs, each weighing one ton, to the occupation, reflecting the intention to continue the aggression with the most deadly weapons.

American support was not limited to armament, but extended to reviving projects for the forced displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Jordan and Egypt, in a dangerous shift from the policy of managing the conflict to resolving it definitively in Israel’s favor, after decades of using time as a tool for evasion and usurping more land at the expense of Palestinian rights.

Despite the announcement of a ceasefire in Gaza, crimes continue, as occupation soldiers deliberately fire live ammunition randomly at residential areas and tents housing the displaced, as if it is just a pastime for them. Meanwhile, occupation bulldozers in the West Bank, especially in Jenin camp, continue to demolish homes and open military roads, as part of a plan aimed at dismantling the Palestinian social fabric and undermining any possibility of steadfastness and any appearance of adherence to the right of return, which is one of the central consequences of the right to self-determination. However, the West Bank and its camps continue to stand firm and refuse to surrender despite the destruction, to confirm once again that the land will not be abandoned and that blood will not be compromised.

In light of the ongoing Israeli crimes, new attempts are emerging to weaken the Palestine Liberation Organization, the latest of which was the so-called "National Conference" held in the Qatari capital, Doha, which seeks to implement external agendas that deepen the Palestinian division. The real solution lies in reform from within the Palestine Liberation Organization, while enhancing national political awareness to develop realistic and achievable strategies, in a way that rebuilds the comprehensive Palestinian national project, based on respect for intellectual pluralism and ensuring that a single vision is not imposed on the Palestinian people.

The emergency Arab Summit on March 4, 2025 is a crucial opportunity to reassess the role of the Arab League in addressing regional and international challenges, especially with regard to the Palestinian issue. If Arab countries are able to unify their positions and take effective decisions, this could represent a turning point towards enhancing Arab ability to influence the course of events at the political and diplomatic levels. However, the biggest challenge remains the ability of Arab countries to overcome the differences in their internal interests, which requires a new vision and collective courage to work to achieve the interests of the nation and confront foreign interventions and attempts to change the balance of power in the region.

What is happening today is not just a military escalation, but rather part of a programmed strategy to liquidate the Palestinian cause through the extermination of the Palestinian people or their forced displacement. The United States, which has always benefited from igniting wars to advance its economic and military interests, is a major participant in these plans through its continued support for Israel, which allows it to commit massacres without real criticism or actual deterrent measures from the West and the international community in general. The October 7 operation came in the context of a long conflict with the occupation, and was exploited to ignite hysteria against the Palestinians, just as the events of September 11 were exploited to justify wars in the region.

In conclusion, steadfastness remains the only option to confront attempts to erase the Palestinian presence, and strengthening national unity under the umbrella of the Palestine Liberation Organization forms the basis for building a comprehensive strategy aimed at establishing and protecting Palestinian rights. Popular political awareness and Arab and international solidarity remain essential factors in confronting American-Israeli brutality, and despite the great challenges, the Palestinian people remain steadfast in their positions, determined to defend their land and rights until achieving freedom and complete emancipation from the occupation and establishing an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
