The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Thursday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,239 dead, the majority of whom are children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation aggression on October 7.

It added that the number of injuries has risen to 111,676 since the beginning of the aggression, while a number of victims are still under the rubble, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

It pointed out that 17 martyrs (14 of whom were recovered, and 3 new dead) and two injuries arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals during the past 24 hours.

It is noteworthy that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip entered into force on January 19, and since its entry into force, a number of citizens have been killed and injured in various parts of the Strip.
