Hamas announces postponement of handing over occupation prisoners after "Israeli" violations

The military spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, Abu Obeida, announced on Monday the postponement of the handover of the occupation prisoners who were scheduled to be released next Saturday, after the occupation army violated the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.


Abu Obeida said in a tweet on his Telegram account, "The resistance leadership has monitored the enemy's violations and failure to abide by the terms of the agreement over the past three weeks, including delaying the return of the displaced to the northern Gaza Strip, and targeting them with shelling and gunfire.


In various areas of the Strip, and the failure to bring in relief supplies in all their forms according to what was agreed upon, while the resistance implemented all of its obligations.


He continued: "Accordingly, the handover of the Zionist prisoners who were scheduled to be released next Saturday, corresponding to 02-15-2025, will be postponed until further notice, and until the occupation commits to compensating for the past weeks, retroactively."


Abu Obeida stressed the resistance's commitment to the terms of the agreement as long as the occupation adheres to them.
