Today, Thursday, the Israeli occupation authorities released the third batch of detainees as part of the ceasefire agreement.

According to the Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and the Prisoners' Club, the batch includes 110 detainees, 32 prisoners serving life sentences, 48 prisoners with various sentences, and 30 children.

The occupation forces turned the area near Ofer prison into a closed military zone, prevented the gathering of detainees' families, and fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at them.

It also stormed the town of Beitunia and fired tear gas bombs at citizens, which led to the injury of about 20 citizens, including 3 with live bullets, while bulldozers closed side roads to prevent citizens from using them to reach "Ofer Prison" to receive the prisoners.

Hundreds of citizens and relatives of detainees gathered at the Ramallah Recreational Complex to welcome the prisoners released from Ofer Prison.
