Injuries and vehicles set on fire in settler attack on Silwad, east of Ramallah
A number of citizens were injured, Friday evening, and vehicles were burned in an attack by settlers on the outskirts of the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah.
The mayor of Silwad, Raed Hamed, said that 7 citizens were injured by stones and as a result of being beaten with batons by the settlers, in the Nasibiya area west of the town.
He added that the settlers burned 6 vehicles in the area, and that the fire destroyed some olive trees, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
Hamed said that the settlers attacked the people of Silwad who went to inspect their agricultural lands in the Nasiba area, near the Burj area, from which a colonial outpost that was established 25 days ago was removed yesterday, Thursday.
