Palestine and Oman sign MOU in the field of communications and information technology
The State of Palestine and the Sultanate of Oman signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of communications and information technology.
The memorandum was signed by Minister of Communications and Digital Economy Abdul Razzaq Al Natsheh and Omani Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali on Sunday in the Omani capital, Muscat.
The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation and exchange of expertise in the field of developing the digital economy and localizing advanced technologies, in addition to enhancing cooperation between government institutions in both countries in the field of implementing the digital transformation program, building commercial partnerships between telecommunications and information technology companies in the two countries, and consolidating cooperation between them to complete joint technical projects.
It also includes studying the possibility of joint investment in the digital economy and marketing products related to the communications and information technology sector through partnerships between the private sector and government institutions, in addition to benefiting from the human cadres qualification and training program and capacity building.
