Israeli occupation warns Palestinians to evacuate northwest of Gaza City
On Sunday, the Israeli occupation army warned Palestinians northwest of Gaza City to evacuate their homes and move to the city center, in preparation for a military attack, in light of the ongoing genocide for more than 14 months.
This came in a post by the Israeli army spokesman for the Arab media, Avichay Adraee, via the "X" platform.
Adraee said: "To the residents of the Gaza Strip who are in areas classified as D1 and D3 and all the blocks, including the areas of Al-Nasr, Al-Awda City and Al-Murabitun neighborhood, for your safety, move immediately to the shelters in the center of Gaza City."
"The organizations are launching rockets again from these areas, and they have been warned several times in the past," he claimed.
Adraee pointed out that "this is a pre-attack anesthesia," he said.
Such warnings usually precede air attacks or ground incursions by the Israeli military.
Thousands of Palestinians live in the areas designated by the army on the map attached to the statement, including displaced persons who took refuge there and set up tents after being displaced from their original areas.
On Sunday, the Israeli army announced in a statement that it had monitored the launch of 5 rockets from the northern Gaza Strip towards settlements adjacent to the Strip in the south of the country.
The army statement did not mention any injuries or damage as a result of the interception of the missiles.
