Dead and wounded in the Gaza Strip
At least 11 citizens were killed and more than 30 were injured, most of them children and women, in Israeli shelling of the cities of Gaza and Rafah at dawn on Friday.
Local sources reported the martyrdom of four citizens as a result of the occupation forces’ bombing of a house belonging to the Abu Baid family in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City. A girl was confirmed to have been martyred after the occupation targeted her family’s house in the Al-Sidra area in Gaza City.
It pointed out that a female citizen died of her wounds after the occupation targeted their home in the Al-Nasr neighborhood east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
Civil defense crews recovered 3 martyrs and wounded from a house belonging to the Harara family in the vicinity of the Istijaba Mosque in the Sabra area, south of Gaza City.
The bodies of the two dead child, Yousef Ibrahim Abu Muharab (16 years old) and Muhammad Ghayyad Abu Muharab (14 years old), were recovered from the Abu Al-Ajeen area east of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The death toll rose to 45,399 citizens, and the number of injuries to 107,940, while medical teams were unable to rescue thousands from under the rubble, due to the continued bombing and the dangerous conditions on the ground, in light of the stifling siege on the sector, and strict restrictions on the entry of fuel and urgent vital aid, to alleviate the catastrophic humanitarian conditions.
