Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces burned Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, today, Friday, after committing a horrific massacre in its vicinity, leaving 50 martyrs, including 5 medical staff.

In turn, the Palestinian Ministry of Health appealed once again to the international community to protect patients, medical staff and treatment centers in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip, as the Israeli war of extermination continues, and after the storming of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the town of Beit Lahia.

The ministry added that the Israeli occupation's persistence in its crimes is mainly due to the silence of the world and major countries on the ethnic cleansing and massacres taking place.

She added in a press statement, today, Friday, that the war on the Gaza Strip did not exclude anyone, and its damages and atrocities included fetuses in their mothers' wombs, who were killed before they reached the world, and the dead in the graves whose bones were trampled by Israeli bulldozers.

The Ministry of Health held the international community and the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the lives of the patients, their companions and the medical staff at Kamal Adwan Hospital, numbering 350, after contact with the medical staff, patients and injured there was cut off.

The occupation forces surrounded the hospital and this morning demanded that the medical staff, patients and companions go down to its courtyard in preparation for storming it, after a massacre committed yesterday against five of its staff, namely pediatrician Ahmed Samour, laboratory specialist Israa Abu Zaida, paramedics Abdul Majeed Abu Al-Aish and Maher Al-Ajrami, and maintenance specialist Fares Al-Hudali.

The death toll from the Israeli war of extermination on the Gaza Strip has risen to more than 45,400 dead and more than 108,000 wounded, since October 7, 2023.

Kamal Adwan Hospital is the largest hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, and it provided services to more than 400,000 people.
