The Israeli army has almost completely destroyed the Syrian air force and carried out hundreds of raids since the fall of Assad
The Israeli army has launched more than 300 raids across Syria, "destroying the most important military sites," according to what the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Tuesday, since the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime two days ago. Today, the occupation's air force carried out an aggression with a series of raids on the Syrian capital, Damascus.
Reuters quoted security sources as saying that the military incursion of the occupation army into Syria had reached about 25 kilometers southwest of Damascus.
The Israeli Army Radio said that the Israeli Navy carried out a "large-scale operation yesterday to destroy the Syrian army's naval fleet," adding that "the attack was carried out using naval missile barges, during which several Syrian Navy ships were destroyed, which were carrying dozens of sea-to-sea missiles, in the area of the ports of Bayda and Latakia."
The Observatory said that "Israel has carried out more than 300 air strikes on Syrian territory" since dawn on Sunday, resulting in "the destruction of the most important military sites in Syria" including airports, warehouses, aircraft squadrons, radars, military signal stations, weapons and ammunition depots, scientific research centers, air defense systems, as well as an air defense facility and warships in the port of Latakia in the northwest of the country.
