Israeli army demands that the residents of 64 villages in Lebanon not return to them
The Israeli army announced today, Friday, two days after the ceasefire in Lebanon came into effect, that it attacked more than 12,500 targets during the war on Lebanon, claiming that they were Hezbollah targets, including 360 targets in the capital Beirut and about a thousand targets in the Bekaa region.
The Lebanese News Agency confirmed that the Israeli army "opened fire on citizens in Khiyam, during the funeral of one of the town's sons"; it also indicated later that an artillery shell fell on Khiyam.
The Israeli occupation army threatened to target Lebanese citizens who are located south of the villages of Shebaa, Hebarieh, Marjeyoun, Arnoun, Yahmor, Qantara, Shaqra, Barashit, Yatar, and Mansouri in southern Lebanon, and demanded that they not move south of these villages “until further notice,” and that anyone who moves south of these villages “exposes himself to danger,” according to an occupation statement in Arabic.
The occupation army asked the residents of 64 villages in southern Lebanon not to return to them.
This comes as the Lebanese army confirmed, yesterday, Thursday, that Israel violated the ceasefire agreement several times, on Wednesday and Thursday, as it said in a statement: “On November 27 and 28, after the announcement of the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli enemy violated the agreement several times.”
