Two young Palestinians from Ramallah arrested and farmers attacked in Salfit
Today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested two young men at the Ein Siniya military checkpoint, which is built on citizens’ lands north of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces arrested the two young men, Amr Mu'ayyad and Abdullah Hawtri, from the city of Qalqilya, while they were passing through the Ein Siniya checkpoint.
In another context, the occupation forces prevented farmers from picking olives in the town of Deir Istiya, west of Salfit.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces forced farmers to leave their lands in the Al-Qa'dah area, north of the town, under the pretext that the area is a closed military area.
In this context, the guard of the "Rafafa" settlement fired live bullets at farmers who were picking olives in the Ma'aridh area.
It is worth noting that the occupation and its settlers attacked farmers yesterday in the same areas, tried to assault them, forced them to leave the place, and threatened them not to return.
