Naim Qassem: We do not expect the war on Lebanon to end through any political action
Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu aims, through his aggression against Lebanon, to end Hezbollah's existence.
He stressed that Hezbollah has tens of thousands of trainers capable of fighting and standing firm in the confrontation.
He pointed out that the occupation relies on its ground army and fears engagement and faces solid resistance on the borders. He said: "We do not expect the war on Lebanon to end through any political action."
Qassem continued, in a televised speech, that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has a project that goes beyond Gaza, Palestine, and Lebanon and extends to the Middle East.
He explained that Netanyahu's plan is based on three items: "ending the existence of Hezbollah, occupying Lebanon even from a distance and making Lebanon similar to the West Bank, and working on the map of the Middle East."
Coinciding with the broadcast of the speech of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, the Israeli army issued new evacuation instructions for residents of two areas in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
