The Hebrew Channel Kan said that the occupation army will begin deploying armored personnel carriers in the West Bank settlements today, in a move considered the first since the Second Intifada.

The Hebrew channel reported that the army's decision came out of fear of a recurrence of the attacks of October 7, 2023.

In a related context, the Al-Quds Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement - announced that it had bombarded the "Netiv Ha'asara" settlement in the Gaza envelope with a number of rockets.
