Updated: 15 killed in a communications devices explosion in Lebanon
Three Lebanese citizens were killed on Wednesday evening in an explosion of communication devices.
The National News Agency said that 3 citizens were killed after communication devices exploded in the town of Sahmar, while a number of wireless devices exploded in the hands of their owners and inside homes in several areas in southern Lebanon, causing fires. A motorcycle also burned in one of the towns of Tyre District as a result of the explosion of one of the devices.
The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced the death of 12 citizens, including two children, and the injury of about 2,800 other citizens in the explosion of communication devices yesterday in several areas in Lebanon.
