Hebrew newspaper claims: Israeli army confirms killing of 10,000 militants in Gaza

The Hebrew newspaper Israel Hayom claimed, on Monday, that the Israeli army has confirmed that it has killed 10,000 militants in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war.

According to the newspaper, a secret discussion was held last week at the headquarters of the Israeli army's southern command, during which it became clear that out of the 17,000 "terrorists" killed since the start of the current war, according to the army's estimates, the identities of 10,000 killed so far have been confirmed, including those who infiltrated the Gaza envelope settlements on October 7.

The newspaper said: Their identities have been verified unambiguously.

She pointed out that the discussion was held 11 months after the war, with the aim of reaching a deep understanding of the extent of the damage inflicted on the "terrorist" organizations in the Gaza Strip, according to her expression.

She said: The Israeli army considers these numbers a great achievement in light of the fact that it is often very difficult to verify the identities of such a number unambiguously.

An Israeli officer was quoted as saying: Killing 10,000 out of 60,000 "terrorists" in Gaza does not achieve the desired victory. What is required is to activate the "generals'" plan and not be satisfied with air strikes, according to his expression.
