Israeli occupation prevents Palestinians from going to perform prayers in Nablus
Today, Friday, the Israeli occupation forces prevented citizens from going to perform prayers near Mount Sabih in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.
Beita Municipal Council Chairman Mahmoud Barham said that the occupation forces prevented worshippers from reaching the prayer place near Mount Sabih.
He added that the occupation forces deployed heavy military checkpoints at the town's intersections to prevent citizens from reaching there.
The town of Beita is subjected to repeated attacks by the Israeli occupation forces and settlers, following the forcible establishment of the "Avitar" colonial outpost on citizens' lands at the top of Mount Sabih.
Last Friday, the occupation forces killed the American solidarity activist of Turkish origin, Aisha-Nur Eji (26 years old), while she was participating alongside the people of the town of Beita in the weekly march against settlements, joining 17 martyrs who have risen in the town since the establishment of the "Avitar" outpost in May 2021.
