Injuries and arrests during Israeli raids in the West Bank and Jerusalem
Several citizens were injured and arrested on Monday during Israeli raids on several areas in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
The occupation forces arrested citizen Wael Ismail Abayat (41 years old) from the Jabal Al-Mawaleh area east of Bethlehem.
The occupation forces stormed several areas in the Bethlehem Governorate, including the village of Harmala, and the towns of Za'tara and Al-Ubeidiya to the east, and raided and searched many homes.
The occupation forces also stormed the town of Beit Fajjar and brought prisoner Ahmed Khaled Issa Taqatqa to his home, where they searched it in detail and seized some of the family’s belongings.
The Red Crescent reported that its crews dealt with the injury of a young man, aged 28, with live bullets in the thigh, during the occupation's storming of the town.
The occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at citizens who were waiting to cross the Al-Hamra military checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley.
Local sources reported that the occupation targeted citizens' vehicles with tear gas, which caused a state of suffocation and confusion among citizens who were trying to cross the checkpoint.
Other forces stormed the village of Einabus, south of Nablus, roamed its streets, raided a number of homes, searched them and wreaked havoc.
The occupation forces stormed Tulkarm again from its western entrance.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces were stationed around Al-Alimi Roundabout, known as the "Courts Roundabout", and began to bulldoze the area's infrastructure, amidst intensive flying of a reconnaissance aircraft at a low altitude.
The occupation bulldozers also stormed the schools neighborhood in Tulkarm camp from its main northern entrance, and carried out extensive destruction of the camp’s infrastructure, which led to the disruption of communication and internet networks in the area.
Violent clashes took place between the youths and the occupation forces, who fired live bullets, sound bombs and toxic gas at them, without causing any injuries.
Tulkarm city and its two camps are subjected to repeated raids by the occupation forces.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces arrested a young man from Qalandia camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the camp and carried out extensive raids and searches that included many citizens’ homes, some of whom were assaulted and subjected to field investigations. The raids ended with the arrest of a young man without being able to identify his identity.
