From Qassam to the Israeli street: Release in a deal or kill in a bombing
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), sent a video message to the Israeli street entitled “Release in a Deal or Kill in a Bombardment,” and it included pictures of a number of Israeli prisoners who were killed by Israeli army fire during the aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The message showed a picture of the Israeli soldier Faul Asiani, who was killed in an Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip on November 9. It indicated that she was 19 years old, from Modi'in, and had the ID number (2141279293).
The letter showed a picture of prisoner Aryeh Zadmanovich, who carried a card number (0010185791), and said that he died on November 17 due to panic attacks that he suffered as a result of the continuous Israeli shelling near his detention center.
Al-Qassam also published a photo of the captive soldier Sa'ar Baruch (25 years old), who holds ID number (207775032), and said that he was killed during a failed attempt by the occupation to retrieve him on December 8.
Throughout the video, there was a picture on a wall of what appeared to be a family of a man, a woman, and two children, who were not mentioned in the message. Next to the wall was a model of a menorah, which represents an Israeli religious symbol.
Al-Qassam concluded its message with a sentence written in Arabic and Hebrew, saying, “Release in a deal... Killing in a bombing... The matter is in Netanyahu’s hands.”
During the past few days, Al-Qassam published many video recordings made by Israeli prisoners before they were killed by the occupation’s bombing, in which they held Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his war government responsible for their capture and lives.
In their letters, a number of prisoners accused Netanyahu of trying to kill them every day through bombing and siege, which made them live in difficult conditions without food, drink or even a chance to sleep.
