Netanyahu clarifies approaching Gaza deal
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that reports indicating that Tel Aviv is 90% close to reaching a truce agreement in the Gaza Strip are inaccurate.
Netanyahu added in statements reported by the American "Fox News" on Thursday, that people can protest, but the people strongly support the position taken by the government, referring to the ongoing demonstrations in Tel Aviv demanding an immediate deal.
Netanyahu had stressed that he would not change his policies to reduce civilian casualties in Gaza, claiming that the occupation army "took the necessary precautions to reduce those losses."
"I will not change my humanitarian policies or my combat policies to reduce civilian casualties," he said during a press conference with foreign media.
