Jenin under siege, raids, demolition and displacement... siege of hospitals, attacks on paramedics, prevention of entry of food and medicine
A paramedic and patients were injured by the occupation forces while they were being transferred for treatment.
In the hospitals of the besieged and isolated city of Jenin for the seventh consecutive day, with the continuation of the occupation aggression, which refused to allow the transfer of food aid, supplies and medicines to patients and civilians besieged in their homes in several neighborhoods and areas that are still closed until further notice, while it continued the campaigns of raids, arrests and displacement of more residents of Jenin camp.

The occupation sent military reinforcements to the city and the camp, and continued its raids and searches that targeted the homes of a number of those it calls wanted persons.
Their families threatened to liquidate them if they did not surrender themselves. The occupation chased the vehicles at the entrances to Jenin and opened fire on them to prevent them from entering the besieged city, while bulldozers destroyed the memorial to the martyr Jamil Al-Amouri west of Jenin, and the main street.
Burqin Jenin, starting from the entrance to the village, which is believed to be a main road connecting Burqin, the camp, and the city of Jenin. It also connects the villages of Kafr Qud, Al-Hashimiya, Al-Arqa, and Ya’bad.
Witnesses reported that the occupation forces raided homes in the Al-Damj neighborhood, searched them, and destroyed their contents. They also forced dozens of citizens to leave their homes and expelled them from them, as part of the ongoing campaign to displace residents since the beginning of the aggression.
According to the residents, the soldiers took them out and prevented them from carrying any of their belongings, and threatened to demolish their homes. The occupation forces continue to occupy dozens of buildings, structures and homes and use them as observation points and to monitor snipers who shoot at every moving object. They also detain families in harsh and difficult conditions and deprive them of all their rights.
Official and popular ambulance crews reported that the occupation forces obstructed the work of the medical crews and are still preventing them from entering the camp. They also prevented young volunteers from bringing humanitarian aid such as bread and water into the camp.
In addition, the suffering of the residents of Jenin city and camp is exacerbated by the interruption of water, electricity and internet networks for most of them, while the occupation forces refused to agree to coordinate the entry of emergency aid, baby milk and medicines for the besieged families who are living in dire humanitarian conditions.
The occupation forces assaulted the medical crews and obstructed their movements in light of the siege on the city’s hospitals. Paramedic Saher Hanoun told Al-Quds that after obtaining coordination from Burqin, a number of patients were brought to Jenin Hospital. During their transfer to the hospital, they were stopped by the occupation soldiers in the vicinity of Ibn Sina Hospital, and they brutally beat them, including the patients. They handcuffed them and detained them for two hours.
