Jenin devastated!!

Never before has the city of Jenin and its camp been subjected to this amount of massive destruction and sabotage, all because of the occupation’s insistence on practicing a policy of genocide against the Palestinians, including all punitive measures that targeted all aspects of life, in an Israeli message that carries within it the deep-rooted hostility practiced by the Zionist movement against the Palestinians, which confirms that there is no coexistence or peace with this entity, which is considered a cancer that poisons the region and eliminates all opportunities for a decent life in it.

The occupation government has placed the city of Jenin and its camp at the forefront of the targets it is fighting, claiming the presence of military activities, ammunition and weapons. It has reached the point of exaggeration by the extremist Israeli media, which transmits its messages and news from the Shin Bet and the army, where it claimed that the Palestinians used new types of shells and missiles, in addition to finding bombs and explosive devices weighing 100 kg, in a false narrative far from any logic, and its only goal is to justify the killing, aggression and continued bloodshed.

The twelfth invasion of Jenin and its camp since October 7 is the fiercest and most violent, as the occupation has violated everything in the city camp, including trees, people and stones. The traces of destruction and the bulldozing of infrastructure, especially in the eastern region, are still evidence of the criminal aggression. The number of martyrs, which has risen to 15 in five days, is evidence of the targeting of civilian citizens. All of this is no less dangerous than the scene of the displacement and expulsion of families and residents from their homes under threat of arms, and the siege and storming of hospitals and health centers to prevent them from performing their humanitarian mission. 180 kidney dialysis patients were transferred from Jenin Governmental Hospital to another hospital, and water and electricity were deliberately cut off from the camp, especially by firing on the main transformers.

The extent of the catastrophic losses caused by the aggression cannot be estimated, but without a doubt Jenin needs millions of dollars to rebuild the destroyed homes, facilities and installations.

The attack on Jenin and the northern West Bank, the siege on the south, and the continued violations against Jerusalem are nothing but the result of blatant and very dangerous incitement by the so-called Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir and the Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich, who are seeking to blow up the West Bank as an extension of the war of genocide on the Gaza Strip, which includes Ben Gvir’s previous statement, which he repeated yesterday, saying that the right to life for Jews is greater than the right to movement for Palestinians, his demand to execute Palestinian prisoners, his keenness to distribute weapons to settlers continuously, and what is added to it from the statements of the extremist Smotrich, who seeks to stifle the opportunity to embody the Palestinian state through calls to build more settlements.

Ben-Gvir and Smotrich's statements, which come in light of Netanyahu's approval and the practices through which the Israeli army closes the crossings and imposes a comprehensive siege on the northern and southern West Bank, call for a serious international and UN stance to stop this criminal war against our people, which it seems that Israel has decided to turn into a permanent and long-term war.
