War on Gaza continues, and Israeli occupation targets tens of thousands of displaced people in Al-Mawasi

The Israeli war of extermination against the Palestinian people continues, especially in the Gaza Strip, leaving more martyrs and wounded.

The war entered its 319th consecutive day.

In a dangerous development, the occupation army targeted last night tens of thousands of displaced people inside their tents in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, areas that it had classified as humanitarian and had been calling on residents to head to since the beginning of the war.

At least 5 displaced persons were injured by Israeli tank fire that attacked the outskirts of the Mawasi area in the town of Al-Qarara, northwest of Khan Yunis.

Simultaneously, military vehicles penetrated amidst heavy gunfire towards the tents of the displaced in the Al-Shakoush area in Mawasi Rafah.

The gunfire, as well as some artillery shells, set fire to the tents of the displaced people, causing panic and fear that forced thousands to flee again in search of safe areas.

The Israeli artillery shelled the residential city of Hamad and its surroundings northwest of Khan Yunis, while the occupation army blew up towers inside the city and residential buildings west of Rafah.

Four citizens were killed in a bombing that targeted a civilian vehicle near Al-Hashashin Street, north of Rafah.

Meanwhile, 5 citizens were killed as a result of the bombing of the Abu Zaid family house in Block 9 in Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.
