The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Saturday that it had killed and wounded Israeli soldiers by targeting two vehicles with two anti-personnel bombs in the axis of their incursion into the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Al-Qassam said in a statement published on the Telegram platform that its fighters "managed to detonate two anti-personnel bombs in two jeeps (military vehicles) of the Israeli occupation forces, and clashed with the remaining soldiers with machine guns, killing and wounding them in the vicinity of the university college in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza."

It added: "Helicopters were spotted landing to evacuate the wounded and dead."

As of 16:10 (GMT), the Israeli army has not issued an immediate comment regarding what was reported by Al-Qassam.
