Extermination of our people...Israel's strategic goal
After a long wait, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant made a bold statement in which he admitted that Israel is the one delaying the process of reaching a prisoner exchange deal. This is a clear indication of an accusation directed at Netanyahu, whose decisions are influenced by the pressures of those in his government, most notably the two extremist ministers Ben Gvir and Smotrich.
Galant raised an important point in the midst of the media exchange between the political level and the army, when he said that the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Philadelphi corridor for two months will not affect Israel, a point that Netanyahu rejects and insists on keeping the Israeli army in the Philadelphi corridor, as one of the impossible conditions that Netanyahu insists on to thwart the exchange deal, and continue the aggression with diplomatic cover provided by the United States and Israel's allies, by programming fake statements that suggest interest in the exchange deal, and in reality they appear to be worn-out tales and stories through which Israel seeks to place responsibility on Hamas, and this is what came in the response statement from Netanyahu's office to Galant when he accused him of adopting the anti-Israel narrative, which leads to compromising the possibilities of reaching a deal to release the detainees, in addition to Netanyahu's claim that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar is the only obstacle to the exchange deal.
Galant admitted that Netanyahu's statements about the absolute victory over Hamas are baseless, describing this statement as nonsense, attacking Netanyahu that his statements behind closed doors differ from his public statements, in reference to the Israeli Prime Minister being affected by pressures from extremists in his government.
The escalation of the dispute between the army leadership and the Israeli government, from our point of view, remains formal, because the strategic goal of all the pillars of the occupation system, militarily and politically, is a common goal, the title of which is the annihilation of the Palestinian people to the end, the elimination of all the components of their life, and depriving them of establishing their Palestinian state. This is what all Israeli trends agree on, even the opposition. Within the framework of the strange Arab and international silence, Israel continues its war and massacres against civilians without any regard for the international and UN resolutions, which remain ink on paper, through Israel’s disregard for all international covenants and treaties.
It is clear that the next round of negotiations on Thursday will not differ from its predecessors, and will be a waste of time and will give Israel a new opportunity to practice its aggression and will give it more time to continue its genocide against our people.
