Detainees' families: Leaks about Netanyahu's efforts on the deal are frightening

Families of Israeli prisoners described leaks about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's efforts to withdraw from the deal as "frightening," stressing that they will not allow the detainees to be neglected.

The families demanded that the negotiating team and security leaders inform the public of who is obstructing the deal and their justifications.

She said that Defense Minister Yoav Galant had previously confirmed that Tel Aviv had missed the opportunity to conclude a deal.

Haaretz newspaper quoted officials in the negotiating team as saying that the assessments of the security services leaders indicate that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not interested in concluding a swap deal, after the Prime Minister's Office announced that the negotiating delegation will head to Cairo tomorrow, Saturday or Sunday.
