Clashes in Gaza City, shelling and raids on various areas in the Strip
The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 39,324 people and 90,830 injuries since October 7, according to a statement issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
The Israeli army committed 3 new massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 66 dead and 241 injuries arriving at hospitals during the past 24 hours.
The Israeli war on the Gaza Strip entered its 296th day on Sunday, as the Israeli army intensified its land, air and sea attacks on various areas in the Strip, a day after massacres that targeted shelters for the displaced in particular.
The Israeli warplanes continued their bombing of various areas in the Gaza Strip, while waves of displacement continued throughout the Strip. The current wave of displacement is concentrated in the city of Khan Yunis, in light of the renewed bombing campaign against it as part of a new ground operation.
Israeli warplanes bombed a building belonging to the Dughmush family in the Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza, and launched a series of raids with phosphorous bombs and others with explosive bombs on the Qizan al-Najjar and Abu Rashwan areas in the south of Khan Yunis. On Saturday, the Israeli army ordered the evacuation of the area south of Khan Yunis in preparation for a ground operation, which comes days after the start of the ongoing ground operation in the east of the city.
The Israeli artillery expanded its shelling of populated areas, blew up residential blocks, and targeted the eastern areas of Deir al-Balah, while tanks fired at Palestinian homes south of Khan Yunis, as an incursion into the area began.
This comes as the Palestinian resistance continues to confront the incursion of Israeli forces, coinciding with the escalation of battles between the Qassam Brigades and the Israeli army in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, where the Israeli army announced the death of a soldier in its ranks due to wounds he sustained a week ago in the southern Gaza Strip.
