Jerusalem: Israeli occupation police shoot a young Palestinian for allegedly trying to run over officers

A Palestinian man in his thirties was shot by the occupation police at dawn on Saturday in the town of Issawiya in occupied Jerusalem.

The occupation police in occupied Jerusalem claimed that the Palestinian youth attempted to carry out a run-over attack against the occupation forces while they were in the town.

The occupation forces opened fire on him and seriously injured him, while none of the occupation police officers were injured. The young man was then arrested while he was still injured.

Six citizens were injured tonight when the occupation forces severely beat them in Issawiya, including a 12-year-old child and an elderly woman (76 years old) in Issawiya. They were transferred to Jerusalem hospitals.

Clashes also erupted after the occupation forces stormed the Shuafat camp north of Jerusalem, during which the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters, without any injuries being reported.
