The number of Palestinian detainees in the West Bank has risen to 9,800 since October 7
The Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 22 citizens from the West Bank, including a journalist, a child, and former prisoners, at dawn and this morning, Thursday.
The Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and the Prisoners' Club explained, in a joint press release, that the arrests were concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah and Hebron, while the rest were distributed in the governorates of Tulkarm and Jerusalem, and were accompanied by attacks and threats against the detainees and their families, in addition to the destruction and vandalism of citizens' homes.
They pointed out that the number of arrests has reached more than (9,800) since the beginning of the occupation aggression on October 7, 2023, and includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
