Hundreds of killed and wounded... bombing of tents with fortress-piercing bombs

- Hundreds ofkilled and wounded in two massacres targeting Khan Yunis and a prayer hall in Al-Shati camp
 - Families buried under the sand and Nasser Hospital out of service
 - Eyewitnesses: Dozens of children and women were scattered and their limbs were cut off
 - Targeting paramedics and civil defense crews to prevent the rescue of the injured

Hundreds of people from the Gaza Strip were martyred and injured in two horrific massacres committed by the occupation army in the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis, which is filled with tens of thousands of displaced people, and in the Al-Shati camp in the north of the Strip, in addition to raids and bombing operations that affected many areas.

Palestinian medical sources reported that the death toll from the occupation massacre in Mawasi Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, rose to more than 79 persons and more than 289 injuries, including serious cases.

The displaced people in tents in the Mawasi Khan Yunis area, which the occupying state classified as a “safe zone,” were surprised when the occupation planes rained down on their camp a barrage of terrible bombs and missiles, which immediately left large numbers of innocent people martyred and wounded, and caused fires to break out in more than one location. Civil Defense crews, to carry out their duty of rescue and evacuation, the occupation warplanes and drones, especially the Quadcopters, fired missiles and heavy bullets at them, causing more martyrs and wounded.

Palestinian security sources told Xinhua News Agency that warplanes bombed with three missiles the tents of displaced persons housing hundreds of families on Al-Nas Street in the city of Khan Yunis, then a civil defense vehicle was targeted.

Video clips circulated showed the site of the attack and the bodies of many people, dead and wounded, lying on the ground.

Medical sources and eyewitnesses reported that the occupation warplanes launched several successive raids with five missiles targeting the Al-Mawasi area, which is crowded with displaced people, which led to the death of dozens of citizens who arrived at the Nasser Medical Complex, and more than 100 injuries, including serious cases.

The sources added that the occupation army committed a major massacre by bombing the camps for the displaced in the Al-Nus area in Khan Yunis, leaving hundreds of martyrs and wounded, including members of the Civil Defense, while the Civil Defense crews were unable to carry out their tasks because of their targeting, and because of the fires and massive destruction and the difficulty of moving their vehicles, as they were needed. It takes a long time to recover the martyrs, many of whose bodies were turned into pieces, and some were buried in the sand due to the intensity of the explosions.

It pointed out that there are no hospitals capable of receiving this large number of martyrs and wounded, in conjunction with the occupation’s destruction of the health system in the Gaza Strip, as dozens of killed and hundreds of wounded were transferred to Nasser Hospital and a number of field hospitals in the region, while the administration of the Nasser Medical Complex announced that it was out of service.

Nasser Medical Hospital is considered the second largest hospital in the Gaza Strip.

Doctors at the hospital said that they were overwhelmed and could not provide medical health care to the large numbers of wounded due to the intensity of the Israeli bombing and the severe shortage of medical supplies.

For its part, the government media office in Gaza condemned in a statement the Israeli army’s perpetration of this terrible “massacre,” holding it and the American administration fully responsible for the continuation of these horrific massacres against civilians.

The statement called on the international community to put pressure on Israel and the American administration to stop the "genocidal war and stop the waterfall of blood" flowing in the Gaza Strip.

In an attempt to justify the horrific massacre it committed in Al-Mawasi, the occupation claimed that the bombing “targeted leaders” in the Hamas movement, an epic attributed to the military official of the Al-Qassam Brigades, Muhammad Deif.

A horrific massacre targeting worshipers in the Beach camp

In the same context, the occupation forces committed another terrible massacre yesterday, killing 17 citizens and wounding dozens, when the occupation warplanes bombed the Beach Camp, west of Gaza City. The raid came shortly after warplanes targeted the tents of displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area.

It was reported from eyewitnesses and medical sources that the occupation aircraft targeted a prayer hall near the White Mosque in the Beach Camp, killing at least 17 citizens and wounding dozens, as torn, dismembered, and burned bodies were seen scattered around the place.

The Gaza Civil Defense Service said in a statement that several shells were fired by the occupation army at a small prayer hall built on the ruins of the mosque that Israel destroyed west of the camp, causing dozens of martyrs and wounded, many of whom are in serious condition.

Video clips from the scene showed a number of people lying on the ground in the prayer area, amid screams from worshipers and residents.

Victimes in Deir al-Balah
In Deir al-Balah in the middle of the Gaza Strip, five citizens were killed and others were injured yesterday, as a result of the occupation bombing of a house, on the 281st day of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Paramedics from the Red Crescent said that they recovered five killed, including three children, after a warplane bombed a house for the Al-Rai family in the city of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, and they were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

They added that explosions were heard in the vicinity of Al-Shuhada Junction, south of Gaza City, coinciding with the occupation artillery firing several shells towards the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Quadcopter drones opened fire on citizens south of Tal al-Hawa, southwest of Gaza City, coinciding with the firing of artillery shells at the southern Rimal neighborhood, west of the city.

At least 10 citizens were injured in a bombing that targeted a house on Al-Twenty Street in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, and another bombing by occupation warplanes on the northern area of the camp.

The occupation warplanes launched a raid, targeting a house near the Tahrir station at the entrance to the town of Abasan Al Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, next to the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression against the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, resulting in the death of more than 38,345 citizens, the majority of whom were women and children, and the injury of more than 88,295 others, an infinite toll, as the toll is still incomplete. Thousands of victims still under the rubble.
