Hamas denies Israeli claim that it targeted leaders in the Mawasi massacre in Khan Yunis

Today, Saturday, the Hamas movement denied the occupation’s allegations about targeting Palestinian leaders in the massacre it committed in Mawasi Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Hamas said in a statement: “This is not the first time that the occupation has claimed to target Palestinian leaders, and it later turned out to be false,” noting that these allegations are to cover up the scale of the horrific massacre.

It stressed that this crime is a clear confirmation by the Israeli government of its continuation of the war of genocide against our Palestinian people, through the repeated and systematic targeting of defenseless civilians, in tents, displacement centers and residential neighborhoods.

Hamas indicated that this disregard for the law and international treaties, and the widespread violations against defenseless civilians, would not have continued without the support provided by the American administration to the occupation government.
