Israeli official: A deal can be reached within two weeks, but Netanyahu is disrupting the negotiations

Israeli Channel 12 quoted a security official as saying that it is possible to reach an exchange deal within two weeks, but the insistence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will disrupt the negotiations for weeks and may even stop them.

While Netanyahu's office described this claim as "false and baseless," accusing the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) of what he called a "change of plan."

Yesterday, Friday, Israeli media said that Netanyahu set new principles for negotiations related to the withdrawal from the Philadelphia axis, the possibility of returning to fighting, and the return of what he describes as “militants” to the northern Gaza Strip, and added that this would obstruct reaching a deal.
