Netanyahu seeks to abort the exchange deal!!
Despite the positive atmosphere and flexibility shown by the Hamas movement after it received guarantees from the mediators that the ceasefire would continue and become permanent after the first phase of the exchange deal negotiations, thus abandoning its previous condition of a ceasefire before the start of the deal, and despite the direction of the army leadership and senior military personnel from Mossad and Shin Bet. and intelligence towards accepting the deal with Hamas, realizing that the war against it may last for years. However, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister, issued exciting and strange statements yesterday, in which he anticipated a security meeting that he was going to hold to agree on the details of the departure of the Israeli negotiating delegations to Cairo and Doha, which sparked A large number of Israeli officials were dissatisfied, especially the army leadership, when he added a new condition to the Israeli conditions related to the necessity of inspecting displaced Palestinians returning from the south to the north and center of the Gaza Strip. He realizes that this condition will not be approved by Hamas, in addition to his return to previous statements in which he indicated that “ It continues its firm adherence to the principles agreed upon by Israel, which are that (any deal must allow Israel to return to fighting until all the goals of the war are achieved, and that weapons will not be allowed to be smuggled to Hamas through the Gaza border with Egypt; Thousands of militants will not be allowed to return to the northern Gaza Strip.)
These statements, which are provocative in their nature, are real and serious statements that Netanyahu makes in public to shift the burden from his court to Hamas’ court, as he puts sticks in the wheels and seeks to bury and abort the deal and obstruct it in order to preserve his political interests, by urging Hamas to reject his conditions that he set, and thus it will not be fulfilled. Completion of the deal..
The issuance of Netanyahu’s announcement, before deliberations, scheduled to be held last night to determine the powers of the negotiating team and the strategy that it will follow in the negotiations during the current week, is a deliberate step by Netanyahu to thwart the exchange deal, but in a smart way that contains great deception, by agreeing to send teams. Israeli negotiations to the Arab capitals, and putting forward Netanyahu’s impossible conditions, and thus Hamas and the resistance factions will not agree to them. This is what Netanyahu seeks to prolong the war for as long as possible to maintain his presence in power as ruler and prime minister, in addition to his tireless effort to please the poles of the extreme right by continuing to kill, slaughter, and starve. The Palestinian people achieve the only goal of the war, which is revenge for what happened on October 7th.
