Thousands of Israelis launch a "Day of Disruption" in the streets to demand a deal and the overthrow of the government
Thousands of Israeli demonstrators participated, this Sunday morning, in several regions of Israel from north to south, in what was called the “Day of Disruption” to mark the 9th anniversary of the start of the war and to demand a deal to recover Israeli prisoners from Gaza, overthrow the Israeli government, and hold immediate elections.
The protest steps began on Sunday morning, with demonstrations in front of the homes of ministers and Knesset members from the coalition, after which demonstrators blocked roads and intersections in a series of centers across the country.
Rallies are also expected to be held in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv later in the day for the return of Israeli prisoners in a deal and to demand immediate elections and a change in government.
More than 150 companies in the high-tech sector and a number of investment funds announced that they would allow their employees to join the protests throughout Israel.
Today, Sunday, the protests will include the closure of streets, including “Al-Shati” Street 2, Street 4, and Street 6, with the aim of putting public pressure on the government. According to the organizers.
