Israeli occupation army acknowledges the killing of an officer in the north
The Israeli occupation army acknowledged the killing of an officer with the rank of major (reserve) in the north of the occupied Palestinian territories.
The occupation army said, on Thursday, in a statement under the permission to publish clause, that Major (res.) Itai Galia, 38 years old, from Ramat Gan, deputy company commander in Unit 8679, Ozbet Yiftah (679), was killed in combat in the north.
Deaths in the ranks of the occupation
The death toll of the occupation army rose to 677 since the 7th of October, 322 since the start of the ground operation on the 27th of last October.
According to the occupation army, 4,066 occupation soldiers have been injured since the start of the aggression on Gaza, the condition of 606 of whom was described as serious, 1,023 moderate injuries, and 2,437 minor injuries.
Al-Aqsa flood
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,” launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, in response to the Israeli occupation’s violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
On the other hand, the Israeli occupation launched a military operation against the Gaza Strip, which it called “Iron Swords,” and launched a series of violent raids on several areas in the Strip, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and thousands of wounded, in addition to the destruction of large numbers of buildings, residential towers, institutions, and infrastructure.
