18 Israeli storming of Al-Aqsa and preventing the call to prayer in Al-Ibrahimi 54 times last month
The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs said that it documented 18 raids on the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by occupation forces and settlers during the month of June, while the call to prayer in the Ibrahimi Mosque was prevented for 54 times.
The Endowments stated in a statement issued today, Wednesday, that the occupation and settlers have escalated their attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque, whether by the number of incursions that exceeded 18, or by the number of intruders, in addition to dangerous Judaization plans that targeted Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Old City, and the Dome of the Rock Chapel in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
She pointed out that thousands of worshipers performed the Eid al-Adha prayer in Al-Aqsa, amid Israeli military restrictions, while the occupation police assaulted and beat the worshipers at Bab al-Silsilah, and stormed the vicinity of the Dome of the Rock just before the Eid al-Adha prayer.
The Endowments continued that the occupation prevented the call to prayer at 54 times in the Ibrahimi Mosque, in an attempt to impose a temporal and spatial division on it. The occupation also closed it to worshipers and visitors for several days during the month of June, in addition to a number of occupation soldiers ascending to the roof of the Mosque and illuminating its walls with Israeli flags. He set up wooden platforms and terraces in his yard, installed cameras in the Al-Jawliyya corridor and inspected them, stormed the Bab Al-Sharqi area and held a meeting with force lighting the area with electricity.
She stressed that what the occupation is doing is a blatant assault on the powers of the Endowments in the Ibrahimi Mosque, a dangerous infringement on its sanctity, a provocation to the feelings of Muslims, and an attempt to control it.
With regard to Islamic and Christian holy sites and religious places, the report monitored the attack by the occupation forces on a prayer hall built on the land of the Khallet Taha area, south of the city of Dura, which is threatened with seizure, near one of the colonies. The occupation destroyed the speakers and sound equipment, and attacked the one who was in charge of the prayer hall, noting that this prayer hall had previously been demolished from Before the occupation.
The occupation forces also stormed the Al-Rabat Mosque located in Al-Fara’a Camp in Tubas Governorate, and this is not the first attack on the governorate’s mosques.
